The cost of delivering tiles will depend on where you live and the total value of your order.
We can usually deliver anywhere within an approximate radius of 20 miles from our Derby or Codnor branches.
Delivery charge £20 (incl. VAT)
All other nationwide delivery charges are postcode dependent, please contact us and we will advise you.
Provided your order is placed before 11am, our aim is to deliver your tiles on the 2nd working day after the order date. This will normally be between 9am and 5pm.
A working day is any day other than Saturday, Sunday, Bank Holiday any other National holiday. For example: if you place an order before 11am on Monday, we would expect your delivery to be made some time on Wednesday (providing there are no intervening Bank holidays, etc).
Off-loading your order
Orders will usually be delivered by a 7.5 ton lorry with a tail lift and off-loaded using a pump truck. The pump truck used to carry the loaded pallet will not operate on anything other than a firm, smooth and level surface.
The driver will, at his discretion, leave the load as near to your property as is safe to do. Due to insurance and health and safety regulations, the driver is under no obligation to carry goods into your property. If you are unable to do this yourself then please arrange for someone to help.
Check & sign for your goods
Unless you have made specific arrangements, the driver will require you to sign for your goods. We can, with your permission in writing, leave the goods in a pre-arranged place. In this case, we cannot take any responsibility for any damages.
It is your responsibility to check the goods. If there are any signs of damage, please include written details on the delivery paperwork as well as your signature.
Please contact us immediately on 01332 758828 and follow up with an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with order or delivery note number and photographic evidence of the damaged goods.
Cancellation or change of delivery date
If you would like to move your delivery date, please let us know at least 48 hours prior to the original date. Failure to do so will incur an additional £25 charge for your next delivery, unless goods are collected instead. Refusal to accept goods when delivery is being attempted will incur the same cost regardless of if collection is made at a later date.
- Deliveries will be made between 8.30am and 4pm.
- You must ensure someone is available to accept and sign for the goods.
- Damages must be signed for and reported within 24 hours.
- If a delivery is refused or a same day cancellation made, there will be a charge of £25 for a subsequent attempt.
